Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

SvcHost.exe is the "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services". Just a launcher for subprograms.

Can you identify the particular service? The PID is not the same for others, and I don't recognise secsves.

If you can download and run procexp.exe from Sysinternals.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx

Click View\ Show Processes from all Users

If you hover the mouse over the particular process, it will tell you what service or services that the particular svchost.exe is responsible for.

Once you get it's name, we can decide whether the service is supposed to be there or what entry in the Control Panel\Services you should stop or restart.
