As for the competition... I've voted (and I didnt vote for myself ).... but omg, almost all of those pics are god damned awesome. Me and my nifty fifty are going to have to raise our game if I'm going to compete anywhere near that.

Some of that stuff looks unearthly, I would LOVE to know how things like that are done.
Is it post processing or wide lens or what... might start a new thread for the topic in the main forum.

I voted for cold road. I think it works on a couple of levels with the obvious snow on the road and then the sense of pure loneliness in it as well.

It's one on my short list too .... the crop on the top of the tree is the only matter. Still a cracking shot & so desolate looking. Really like it.

Yup,some great views over the whole peninsula around there.Wonderful spot.

Some fantastic entries.It was a tough choice between 3 or 4 of them but I went with "Shiver me Train" in the end.

It was a hard choice. Quite a few there I liked. In the end I went with the one that actually made me feel cold. That was Metalic Serotonin.
