    hi guys,

What are the christmas markets like in Cork City this year?
Thinking of a day out for the kids and general christmas atmosphere

    All thoughts welcome.
    Thanks

I was in town yesterday, heard the was a xmas market on so wondered over for a look. Its crap. A few stalls selling food and a few selling orniments. Wouldnt waste the petrol driving up for it.

there is one in the bodega on cornmarket street and also one in the unitarian church on princes street, Saturday 13 in Prince’s Street Church Hall Alternative Craft Fair and also Friday 19 to Wednesday 24, in Prince’s Street Church Hall Alternative Craft Fair

Beginning on December 5 and running each weekend until December 22, A Christmas Celebration on the Grand Parade sees Bishop Lucey Park being magically lit and the Grand Parade transformed into a wonderful haven of locally produced food and craft stalls.

    December 13 to 24

    12 Days of Christmas Fair

Escape the hectic Christmas shopping to the Bodega with a market, gallery, cinema, food, music, gifts & fine art, massage and a café. 10am to 6pm (closing 2pm on Christmas Eve).

    VENUE: The Bodega, Cornmarket St.
