    Aren't you presuming it's the Dad buying the lingerie? Mums can buy lingerie for their daughter, too... Personally I would be mortified if my mother bought me lingerie, but other mums/daughters have a more cosy relationship...

    I see where you're coming from folks, but from a woman's perspective, lingerie isn't all crotchless PVC and naughty red lace! It can be pretty/feminine too and would be an appropriate gift from mother to daughter in that case.

    Still and all, it is an odd suggestion.

    Hillary Thompson must have had a bad experience with Christmas as a child. Waiting all year for that cheerleaders outfit, opening the gift feverishly on christmas morning only to find a rampant rabbit and a balled up pair of crotchless edible panties in the box...

    Plus, has anybody told her that THERE IS A ****ING RECESSION AT THE MOMENT!!!!! Pamper voucher for a day in the spa? Yeah right. Most would be lucky to afford a voucher for Dunnes Stores with the way this country is. Women eh? :rolleyes:
