Have a friend he keeps clogging up his phone with text messages, he sends and recieves about 3000 text messages per week, He's mam has him barred from 3 phones as he was addicted to MSN but now without msn he's just using ordinay free meteor texts, can anyone suggest a phone that can handle that amount of text messages constantly.....
Can you set a phone to store the text messages on the memory card?

 that's a text every 3 minutes on a 24hr (!) day! i'd seriously say thats an addiction and he needs some counseling and not a new phone.

but back on topic (as others addictions are not my businesses). NOKIAs are usually good to hold a large amount of texts. but not sure about this amount

Nokia 3100.... that was the only phone i managed to txt relatively fast with.
Not much memory to save texts on though...

addiction and love, it's a fine line, it's a brave man that would draw a line in the sand between them:D

Nobody any idea of a suitable phone yet? He's your average school kid so budget is important...

Theres a freeware app for s60 nokias that copies every sms automatically to mem card, and even if you delete an sms by mistake, it's still available through the application. It also does threaded conversation etc etc... Have no link but it's on symbian freeware and similar places ;)
