streaming pc audio to tv

    i have all my music upstairs on my desktop pc, i want to listen to my music via my tv, i know there is audio stramers such as sonos and roku soundbridge whihc have their own display but i was hoping to see my music files on my tv ir dvd player, is there such software or hardware outthere and if not can you point me in the right direction
