In fairness it's Ballybane after all. I was there today and came out to see the usual, an avensis from the "moving" community, parked along the trolley thing within feet of 8 spaces or so.

Is it necessary or appropriate to refer to Travellers in this way and in this context?

In my experience obnoxious parking is commonplace and people from all walks of life are guilty of it.

    Absolutely.
From forgetful OAP's to busy mums with 17 kids to teenagers, everyone's guilty of it.
If there's on generalization it should be "everyone's doing it"

I had a woman tell me once that she parked in the disabled bay (without a disabled badge) because there were no other spaces in the car park and disabled parking bays "discriminate against non disabled drivers"!!! I actually wanted to smack her!

Interesting legal point there, she should sue!

No need to get on your high horse (pun intended) about Travellers. If I said a "woman driver" it would have been as bad or "look at his sh*t parking, fvcking disabled people at it again".

You can never please the PC brigade all the time so I won't bother even attempting to try.

I spoke from experience and from the context referring to the Ballybane Supermarket Car Park. If you want to visit that car park and see who the guilty are then please go ahead. It is in area themed with the Travelling Community/Settled Travellers(oxymoron I agree) so the Majority of the Travellers in this instance cannot be asshatted to park correctly.

Parking a small car in a large disabled spot with no permit displayed. Flower power is right!

Hit the nail on the head, is the person parking obnoxioulsy a traveller? well then how is it politically incorrect or out of context to say as much?

Sometimes i think people that claim something is politically incorrect dont know what they are talking about.

Alright, let's move on from the "what's PC?" argument and get back to obnoxious parking.

    Let what go ???
This is a thread which highlights obnoxious parking.
If someone is willing to defend the people that feel they can park wherever they like then perhaps you should ask them to "please let it go".

The spar in northwood is a magnet for lard arses who are too lazy to park properly. There is a ton of spaces close to the shop - see below

This makes no sense to me, why park like this other than 'because I can.'?
