Just to prove the Irish aren't the worst, a selection of Nordic howlers.

Top deck of a multi storey car park. The guy in the pic owns the car with the roofbox. Had to wait 45 mins before the owner of the car in front of him came back...

This guy AFAIK works as a delivery man for a Chinese restaurant in Leixlip and can be seen parked there quite a bit:

    I like these.

Nice to see people putting a 4X4 to proper use and not just picking up the sprogs from school in it. ;)

Would have to disagree there... as one who likes to keep his cars pristine (which I'm entitled to do) I'm not paying for repairs to my cars anymore for negligent people damaging my property in public/private carparks.
I don’t think people in general damage cars on purpose etc.... they just don’t know any better etc. I confronted a lady one day for putting a crease on a historic car I owed back in 1995/1996 and she told me to “grow up!”.. ha ha ha...

As far as I can see most people consider car ding/dent is not the end of the world. Fair enough.. Much like, IMO, parking down the back of a parking lot taking up two spaces is also not a big issue...:) If the spaces are too small for my car I will use two to ensure two things (1) protection to property and,(2) I can actually gain access to/from the car.
Sure, but what gives you the right to inconvenience other people by parking across two spaces?

Bad form in a busy car park.
Don't see the harm in doing it at the far end of a Tesco car park though in fairness.
Personally I prefer to park at the far end of car parks though I stick to one space.

i think in times when the car park is empty taking 2 spaces at the back is forgivable but if its busy then just bring the other car cus if you have a car that pricey you'll have a second one hell I even have 2 and my lexus is cheap enough

If it's at the far end of an empty car park and it's not inconveniencing anyone then fine - if not then it's obnoxious.

Waaaay down the rear... I've left car parks in the past because of poor space sizes... I would pay for larger spaces in any private car park- if available.

I'm interested, genuinely, if you care if your car gets dinged or not in a car park? I know people (like me) who fuss over this, and others who don't. Car owners tend to be quite polarized on this.

Finally, it's also a a major inconvenience if a door/wing is damaged in a car parking lot (hotel, shopping, school whatever) and you have no comeback... I've paid dearly in the past for repairs and I'd rather be called an inconsiderate muppet than to have to hand ca$h over to a panelbeater again... it's cheaper! :)

    Cheers,
    CM

PS enough of me ranting here and wasting all your time ... bring on more of the silly picts please! :)

I tend to park my sc400 in obscure places to avoid dings to all the lazy/prudes its called a hat or umbrella get over your selfishness

the only reason I consider that bad parking is because its not embedded in the building itself, gave up too easily.

Saw this beaut in Shankill yesterday. She couldn't decide whether to park in the handicap space or blocking the lane to the side of the pharmacy, so she parked on the path slightly blocking them both.
