He should never have left it there in the first place.

There is plenty of parking up the street (might be a 2 minute walk away), there is also the Tesco car (entrance accros the street).
I know that these are all pay parking, but 30c gets you 15 mins in the Tesco car park, and if you spend more that about €8 in Tesco, you can get your parking cost back.

    I said I wasn't defending him.
I was only asking if he really left it there with an empty space right in front of him!

Run over the car to squash it into a pancake. When they return a simple play dumb of "What car?" or "Oh, that was your car that got towed away?".

Bus drivers love boxing in people who obstruct bus stops. The "Woe is me" looks from the offenders as they try to, but can't pull out are epic.

I reckon the Merc driver was probably getting some health food/supplements, a bit like those obnoxious parkers at gyms

I don't know, the door on the shogun looks pretty strong. I would say an hour or two of whacking your door off their car may give you enough room to get in?

And, before anyone says - but, it is a wide car...

Look how much space they left between the car and the cerb:

its 45 centimetres from the kerb is the rule apparently (could have sworn driving instructor used to say 2 foot years ago!)
I think that car is parked about that distance out. I wouldn't call that parking obnoxious tbh.

I thought that when I first saw pics of that colour scheme,

BUT, when you actually see the car, it works - trust me.

A common occurrence in this here republic, despite the law being absolutely clear.

Some motorists think that they own not just the road but the footpaths as well.

RoTR just a work of fiction as far as they are concerned. And they think Civic Responsibility is a cheap Japanese import...

I'd say that any colour scheme works on that car. It must be awesome in the flesh. I can't wait to see one for myself.

    Three illegally parked vehicles.

I spotted this lovely BMW parked on the path outside LIDL near Marlay Park. There must've been some good bargains to be had in LIDL that day...

    [IMG][/img]bmwem.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us

This guy doesn't like walking, in fact he hates walking. He hates it so much he doesn't want to park across the road or around the corner, he wants to park on the path of the roundabout so that the entrance to the park is just steps away from his car...

    [IMG][/img]polov.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us

In an act of respect to the pedestrians and cyclists who wish to use the path or cycle lane as it was intended for, this guy has kindly put on his hazard lights indicating that he is a hazard to pedestrians and cyclists alike...
