Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky Plus box to PC

I recorded a few bits on my sky plus box and I want to keep them and watch them on my PC/Laptop.

A friend suggested that the only way to do this is to "record" them to DVD and then rip the DVD's, but this seams like a lot of effort to me. Is there any simpler way of doing it?

No, that's about the easiest way. That or connecting the box to some capture card connected to your PC to negate the need for burning to DVD. You need to recapture the entire programme as you cannot directly copy or otherwise manipulate the digital recording on the hard drive.
