Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Wednesday, 10 December 2008
    UEFA Champions League
    Celtic v Villarreal, Gp E, 19:45
    Dynamo Kiev v Fenerbahce, Gp G, 19:45
    FC Porto v Arsenal, Gp G, 19:45
    Juventus v BATE Borisov, Gp H, 19:45
    Lyon v Bayern Munich, Gp F, 19:45
    Man Utd v AaB, Gp E, 19:45
Real Madrid v Zenit St Petersburg, Gp H, 19:45
    Steaua Bucuresti v Fiorentina, Gp F, 19:45

Lyon v Bayern should be the tie of the night. Both top the group and will be playing for first. Should be some great players on show, Benzema, Juninho Pernambuco, Govou, Fred, Grosso, Toni, Ribery, Podolski, Schweinsteiger, Klose, Lahm. Arsenal play Porto with a weakened squad travelling to Portugal. Man Utd take on Aalborg while Celtic are playing for pride against Villareal. Juande Ramos takes charge of his first game for Real Madrid.

Pity Celtic are out of Europe. It's the best team under Strachan. Pure football with Naka, Brown, McGeady and Maloney in midfield. Add the injured Crosas for Samaras and I would have been very excited about the UEFA cup. There's always next season but Naka will be gone by then.

Seriously though, Maloney (25), McGeady (22), Brown (23), Crosas (20). Watch out for them next season. :)

Robben has apparently been brilliant for Real tonight

McGeady scored a good goal tonight.
