Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nope he put in two superb balls with his left. Right on the money for a striker hungry to find the net. United lack one of those though so nothing came of them.

No, O'Shea is actually having a good game. Actually looks like he can do something with the ball today.

weirdly im becomming more fond of Berba as more united fans who were calling for him to be bought are turning on him, in the real world as well as here obv, he is what he is!!

what did you think you were getting like? he is not a work horse but he is a special player, was never the right choice for us but sure he is here so why not support him, he will contribute to any success we have this season

i thought we were getting a player who could do SOMETHING

In fairness Berba hasnt been the only one, Tevez has been brutal too imo. Really need to lift it in the second half. Giving the ball away far too easily.

for awhile i taught Ronaldo was gone off on holidays

eh lads, i dont base my opinions on one game, i actually didnt comment on this game at all, i said he is a special player and he will contribute this season, he already has technically, look at his stats

i already said, he is not a work horse, its not his game

i am not his biggest fan but some fans i know force me to defend him alot!

do you think we could be different to other fans maybe and judge him at the end of the season?

Tbh I thought Ronaldo was the best of our forward players so far (granted it hasnt been too hard), didnt give the ball away, drew the full back to him a couple of times and slid O'Shea in well to knock in afew crosses.

im not judging him in terms of utd shouldnt have bought him

im judging him in tonights game

    he really has been disappointing

theres no question of how class he is
during tonights game he took the ball out of the air like it was nothing

but he's not doing the simple stuff tonight

    Ronaldo really misses Evra

Evra would bomb down the wing taking defenders away from Ronaldo

    creating more space

I don't think I've ever seen United pass the ball worse. Fletcher was poor, Carrick's passing was beyond shocking, beyond shocking.
    Tevez was very poor.

We needed Anderson's guile today, or a bit of magic from Nani comapred to Park. Against that defence, not scoring was just awful.
We keep ****ing up, and theres only so long we can get away with it. Chelsea are going to win this thing unless we get it together, and they haven't even been that good.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,448 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

Entertaining game - again United are poor in front of goal, and it has cost us. Need to get it together, very disappointing.

Seriousl though - what is happening with United and the inability to convert chances??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,529 ✭✭✭Im_No_Superman

Fair result. Didnt do enough to win it. Can only remember Gomes having to make two saves all match albeit they were fine saves.

we needed to sign a goal scoring striker, and we didn't. None of our forwards are clinical.

    just look at todays strikers

tevez -drops off way to much

    Berba -where do i start

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,247 ✭✭✭ROCKMAN

A great opportunity lost to be honest, OK at the end of the season an away point to Harry's Spurs may not be a bad thing , And that's all last season top 8/9 teams played away

Thought Park was very very good today.

The problem this evening was we didnt make enough chances due to our very poor passing.
