Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shocking defending, Gerrard free shot in the box both times, track your markers Hull.

That's Liverpool. When the odds are against them, Gerrard especially, they just step it up. Would anyone really be surprised if this ended 2-2 now?

p.s. Ref is all over the place, no consistancy with yellows, penalties not given. He's having a bit of a mare, might end up deciding this game.

I'd be absolutely flabbergasted. Do you honestly think there's not more goals in this?

I'm not sure really. I think Liverpools defence will probably step it up now. And Liverpools attack is still questionable when they aren't coming from behind.
    Just a thought :)

    Come on Hull!

Babel, Keane and El Zhar can come on and make a difference who do Hull have?

Fair enough. Hope you're right. Available @6.0 on Betfair if you're that way inclined!

    Hmmm...

Fastest 45mins ever. Dossena was awful for the second goal.

    Marney, Cousin and Stelios.

I'm suprised that Marney didn't start.

Great comeback. Hope we can keep this up for the second half.

i presume it was due to the goals.

exciting first half, hopefully push on and win. Hull look vunerable at the back.

Every time hull had a goal kick it seemed to take forever for the ball to go back in play. The camera would be just zooming in on people for a few minutes.

yeah, why so much extra time? Was beginning to think the ref wasn't gonna blow up till pool scored again! Entertaining game so far, some hilarious defending.

Dossena should have done better but what was carra at?! No pressure and a pretty simple ball to clear

Kuyt is having a shocker alright his touch has been rubbish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,067 ✭✭✭✭Tusky

Kuyt has been awful. Hasnt won anything in the air and his first touch has let him down a few times. Hardly his fault, he shouldn't be leading the line. Hyypia also playing poorly.

Would love to see this in the second half.

    Babel

    Riera
    Keane----Gerrard

Well, looks like I was right for HT anyway :P
I'd say there's only going to be one more goal in the second half, if any - tbh. Both teams will be stepping up the defence.

Always. Everytime we didn't make/take a chance with the 'Dalglish, Rush and Barnes would all have put those away'. How come each time Gerrard scored he didn't say, 'Dalglish, Rush, Aldridge would all have put those away aswell' - why only compare to the past in a negative way? almost as bad as Ronnie Whelan.

He is basically using Kuyt to highlight the fact that Liverpool don't have the striking talent that they used to have.. He does so while conveniently forgetting that in Torres, we have one of the best strikers in the world.

I also like how he just ignored Gerard also.
