Folks a buddy of mine has a problem with the above car not starting, firstly last sat morn, got in and it started and cut out whilst ticking over after 2mins,the diesel was very low but didnt think so low as to run out,so put a tenner in it and tryed jumping and bleeding at injectors but no diesel was geting to injectors, took of diesel filter and replaced, but no diesel was geting to filter, BUT STARTED WITH A PULL, was fine all week until this morn would not start(and its not it just dosnt like saturdays)so anyway got it in to his head that it was the injector pump, and replaced it and the cam belt, and no joy.So has anyone any idea what to do next,is there not a fuel pump in the diesel tank????

    thanks in advance

Actually just a thought could it be the key and imopiliser??

If you there is no fuel getting to the high pressure pump then more than likely it is the in tank pump, does it have an inline pump?
Sit in the back of the car, pull up the back seat if you can,get someone to switch on the ignition (don't crank) and see can you hear it priming.
