its supposed to be a very good rifle, but there a bit prone to breaking off the cocking handle when your racking it.,
liamo has one that he swears by., :)

    some reviews
    http://www.airsoftretreat.com/reviews/showcat.php?cat=35

sub forum of ca m24 threads
    http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/Classic-Army-M24-series-f155.html

I have one love it, built like a tank feels solid, heavy (if your used to vsr and ssg light weights your in for a shock and long.

I found it accurate and above all consistent out of the box but it does have its issues, I've found the ca mags to be cheap and liable to break or jam at the drop of a hat. I had heard that the cocking handle was dodgy as vtec said, although manly this seemed to be an issue with upgraded models operating way past the legal limit of Ireland in the US for example but i did replace mine to be on the safe side http://www.x-fire.org/m24/e.m24_handle_pal.html.

The way the hop up is positioned on the ca m24 drives me mad (this is my biggest bug bear with the thing). To adjust the hop up you need to remove the magazine, pull make the cylinder and then use a allan key on grub screw at the top of the hop up chamber. This means that adjusting the hop up on the fly is not practical and setting the hop up is a more time consuming proposition than the vsr for example.

When i ordered the cocking handle i also ordered the replacement hop up unit http://www.x-fire.org/m24/e.m24_chamber.html this is your friend it is far better designed than the stock unit and will allow you to use aeg barrels and buckings unlike the stock version.

I also ordered a number of spare parts, i got a few replacement orings for the hop up unit, if orings around the hop up unit seem to be prone to damage as some site on the outside of the unit and when you remove the inner barrel/hopup from the m24 they seem to easily get damaged from contact with the inside of the receiver.

( Sorry just putting this down fast before i go out, will retype some of it when i get back )

i had a feel of it in mia.i just got a beautiful aps too with a great scope about a month ago but now im going to get rid of it just because this thing is actually literally solid as a rock.i mean really there is no hollow inside like on all the other snipers we can get here.the barrel doesn't move a mil from the rest of the body it as infact a small tank turret haha.but thats all i know about them so thanks for the info.can i get any of the spares in ireland
