ive been with 3 ireland for a couple of years, the other day my mate wated to show me somthing porn related so he typed the address in my phone and access was denies, yet over wifi, no problem..

so do all networks blocks material they deem to be unsuitable, or is it just 3 ireland!

what a load of rubbish! i can understand it being blocked for kids etc, but not on a bill phone with a user that is over 18..

Even worse! You have to go instore with proof of ID :pac:

not anymore. they can take a euro or so over the phone off your credit card to verify you. they add the money they take to your credit i think

its to stop -18's from accessing explicit content, simple really.

And yes i know you have to be over 18 to have a bill phone, but the example still applies.

yeas but my missus has a 3pay phone, she had to go into the shop with her passport to ''age verify'' but its the same storey with her phone..so i dont get the point...

when u ''age verify'' with other networks, all blocks are removed..

oh there still blocking stuff after the "age verify" thing was done?

    yep..

well..when she got the sim, she had no internet access at all...she rang up, and was told to call to a store to 'age verify' so she did, and now she has this limited internet...

dont get why she had to age verify to an internet service that already had all 'unsuitable' material blocked anyway!

Have never had any problem accessing any kind of unsuitable material* using my 3 Ireland SIM (in my iPhone).

there's no bar to bill pay customers, it's only to prepay but if your using skyfire it dosen't make any difference you can get into any site you want and watch whatever videos you want... http://www.skyfire.com)

can see your problem with the iphone that sucks, if your going to call india to get them to let you into adult sites, please record the conversation, i'd love to hear it:)
