Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TNA WRESTLING ANNOUNCES "GLOBAL IMPACT 2" WITH TNA VS. NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING
Footage from the anticipated inter-promotional war to air exclusively on SpikeTV

Last January, the superstars of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling journeyed to the far east to battle the superstars of New Japan Pro Wrestling in an inter-promotional war!

The footage from that acclaimed Tokyo Dome event later aired on SpikeTV and left the wrestling world buzzing. In fact, the DVD quickly became one of TNA's best-selling releases of all-time!

Now...Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is happy to announce "Global Impact 2" with TNA vs. New Japan, taking place at the big Tokyo Dome show on January 4.

TNA's Television Production team will document the journey every step of the way - from the trip over, the Japanese culture, all the action from the matches and so much more.

A special broadcast dedicated to the event will air on SpikeTV at a later date (more details to come!)

TNAwrestling.com can confirm the following matches have been signed for the TNA vs. New Japan event (more bouts to be announced, card subject to change):

Main Event: Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Riki Choshu, Masahiro Chono vs. Takashi Iizuka, Giant Bernard, Karl Anderson, Tomohiro Ishii

Three-Way Match: Team 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) vs. IWGP Tag Team, Champions Togi Makabe & Toru Yano vs. Tenzan & Kojima

The Motor City Machine Guns vs. IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions "No Limit" (Naito & Yujiro)

If this years one was anything to go by, then this one will be worth checking out.
Was actually the first time i'd seen any of Devitt's work in a while, not that he was bad in any way, but he's come on in leaps and bounds and his in ring performance, although brief showed that.

Yet another thing to look forward to in 2009, it's gonna have me broke i tells ya!

That whole January 4th show looks great this time around. Last year's really only had two very good matches

Low-Ki is also on it defending his IWGP Junior Heavyweight title against Tiger Mask IV

Devitt is teaming with Mistico and Ryusuke Taguchi against Jado, Gedo and Averno

That eight-man tag isn't the actual main event, it was announced as the fifth from the top match
