Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where did you get your username?

    This applies only to a certain type of username... For example, ever wondered where the words Karoma, or Frada, come from?

    My google powers tell me that Frada is a cheap imitation of Prada. Am I warm, Frada? Mine's a reference to a Beastie Boys song.

    Obviously applies less to usernames such as brendansmith or RugbyFanatic. We can put two and two together on that one.

    Well, what's the idea behind your username?

    Ah yes, I am familiar with you from the music forum:)

    Well that's something new about the language to me, and I considered myself a goodish speaker.

    @nuxx:

    I'm familiar with Underworld, is Born Slippy Nuxx the full name of the song, or a particular remix?

    Ah, but what about your new username:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,457 ✭✭✭giggsy664

    Well my name is Ryan, and I support Manchester united, hence the name.

    Why 664? When I was registering on Lego.com (I was 8 and a few friends were on it), and giggsy was taken so it recommended giggsy664

    Afaik, frada's is a combination of the last 4 letters from his first name, and the 1st letter of his last name.

    His name: ---rada f

    Lol, so you created a username to say where your username came from?

    Odd but interesting. Or interestingly odd.

    About 13+ years ago I went to set up a hotmail account. My name wasn't available and the suggested ones were rubbish... I thought of xavier but that was taken, so I thought I would tell people that IAMXAVIER :P Xavier is not my real name, and the only person with this name that I know of is the professor in the wheelchair in X-men Charles Xavier :)
