That's not really a hint, it confused me even more! Are you saying it's not a picture of a moon e.g. it's an asteroid or something?

@ malice and starflake. Nope neither of those are correct.

However if you one word from each of your suggestions you nearly have the name of the band.

I'll wait a day or two more before revealing the answer, thats of course assuming that no one gets it before then
