I BROKE MY WING MIRROR KNOB

i broke the knob that controls the mirrors this morning when rushing to go to work. As a result i cant move or heat up the mirrors and weirdly the backlight for the controls for heater and hot cold setting has gone aswel.

is it gona cost me much to fix does any1 know.

its a 2000 vw passat by the way!!!

The thread title confused me a bit I thought you were calling yourself of the car a knob:D.

Anyhow if you went to a main dealer I am sure they would charge through the nose for it. If I were you I would go to a scrappy and pick up a second hand one. They should be simple enough to fit I THINK the switch and the electric cable attached to it just clip on and off. If not your local mechanic/auto electrician should fit it hand enough.

I would pay no more that 20 > 30 quid for one.
