Get soem wonderweb, your local habadashery store will have some, it's a fabric strip which becomes sticky when ironed so to make a hem you just fold the fabric over it and iron it.
To make a seam put it between two pices of fabric and iron it.

    Good luck :)

Shepherds outfit is just a sheet (say single bed) with a hole cut in the middle for head, (like a poncho) then something tied around the waist. A tea towel on the head with again soemthing to tie it.

No girls so cant help with the angel sorry :D

A large white t-shirt will do too, if you want to save your sheets.

uh uh i just did my DS, he was one of the three kings. Tinsel head to toe lol.

Get a white dressing gown, child size. Staple silver tinsel over the hooded bit and on the cuffs and on the end (or glue/sew with just a needle and thread) then for the wings get two wire hangers, stretch them out a bit and put a white pair of tights over them. Twist them together to make a pair of wings and then glue more tinsel around them. Get twine or elastic and make a pair of straps to wear them. Then put a ring of tinsel on her head.

    Job done.:D
