Fair enough so, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm not going to re-quote the last bit because I'm entitled to my opinion too, and we differ.

I'd still dispute your use of the word "irony", based on the points I made earlier (original song by a band that plays instruments vs a crap karaoke version by someone who doesn't)

But hey, it's Christmas, and if Alanis Morrisette can get away with using the word for stuff that's just plain bad luck, who am I to say what's "ironic" ??

Yep it's from the 'Inside In/Inside Out' album which was released in 2006. It was also a single in March of the same year.

Ok here are the best 20 songs posted on here, IMO. I must say i really like the top 15 so far. If there are better songs posted ill change them with the ones i have underlined and put question marks next to. So keep the posts coming ;) Thanks. I've also changed around the order of the songs. Also it would be great to have a debate on songs that should defo be in here and songs that defo shouldn't. I'm also in between the two Kings of Leon songs and the two James Morrison songs. I'm still undecided as to which ones are better. Or maybe i should just add the two of them in ???

    15. Chris Brown - With You ( I added)

    16. Kanye West - Love Locked Down?
    17. Estelle - American Boy?
    18. Adele - Chasing Pavements?
    19. Ting Tings - That's Not My Name?
    20. Fall Out Boy - I Don't Care?

I know music is entirely subjective and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I'd rather stab myself in the ears than listen to that collection of songs. Stick on Sex on Fire and that last Snow Patrol song and you have pretty much compiled a list of my most despised tracks from 2008.

    +1

Far better songs to be on a top 20 compilation!

    Pretty weak list tbh.

Not a good list, nor is it accurate. More Rock/Metal songs should be included. Wanna Be In L.A. by Eagles Of Death Metal is one I forgot about.

There's no such thing as "accurate" in subjective lists like these.

Dear God yes, but then again, Heart On hasnt been released in Ireland, so a non-big fan would't know of it. Love the song after that(havent gotten to remembering names fully yet), and I'm Your Torpedo...lovely album.

That song should be on every list. It is truly brilliant, I even call it epic. Wish I hadn't lost my cd:(
