Copying dvds

My nephew videos rugby matches for his club and the cam he has uses small dvd discs. He asked me to copy them onto regular discs and I haven't a clue where to start. Can someone recommend software to do this. The computer I'm using is a Dell XPS running Windows XP. Thanks.

You can connect your camcorder directly to the back of your computer, the leads that you need probably came with the camcorder, you then have windows movie maker on your computer already and just use that to copy and rewrite....
