It's good actually, our cunning plot is hidden within this innocuously titled thread.

The aul other forums tend to be modded with a heavy hand, one must tread the line most carefully.

hahaha the whole thread is hilarious..

and thats just cherry on the top! :D:D

Yeah, lets not take the mick. It's actually funnier if its a serious, proper discussion.

    I wouldn't mind proper tips!

No reason it can't be both. I'm actually being serious with all my posts there.

It's kind of ironic when you think about it, a cyclist posts in the motoring forum and no one even notices him, 5 views so far.

I guess you should have worn lights, or indicated or something :)

    LOL :D

To anyone having trouble posting, ticking "disable smilies" seems to be working for me so far :)

    Where where?

    Think you mean "Hear, Hear"

Do you not mean: Hear, hear"?

Lower case 'h' on second 'hear' :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,618 ✭✭✭Civilian_Target

    May I direct you here?

The above is their emphasis, but yes, quite a few exemptions there -should they be banned too?

Absolutely. Those filthy, non-tax paying refuse carts and sweeping machines

Interestingly, my bicycle's motor already pays a ****load of tax. Income tax, social tax, council tax, bank card tax... and don't mention the cost of feeding the buggar! And it's only two frigging cylinders to boot! You motorists have it easy.

This is an awesome thread btw :D

You forgot the first quotation mark. :p

    Feck.

I'm guessing I won't get away with saying I was being ironic :p

If we are getting into grammar-naziship, the punctuation goes on the inside of the quotes (traditionally you also use them in pairs, but let's not get into that :D)

Not in this case. The question mark is not part of the exclamation.

We don't venture out into the surrounding community enough. We should possibly arrange some sort of flash mob like attack onto another forum.

Motors would be too easy. *peruses boards* Hmm.. The Ladies Lounge. That could be very vulnerable to a Euro related flash mob.

I was going to comment on this to say it reminds me of the Monty Python Film " The Meaning of Life" where it gets attacked by the support film

But I though I would read on just to see if anyone else said the same thing...

    Little did I know..

at this rate, it is only a matter of time before the Chartered Accountants turn up, followed by some gamers, with a flanking manouver by some "Nature and Bird watching" enthusiasts

    cant wait..

I take it back, it only univerally goes inside in American English, which of course we all know is wrong.

    Fair point!

Is there any way to get this thread back onto one of its many topics?
