    there's just been an update in the vet nursing course in athlone IT. this course is now accredited with the veterinary council of Ireland meaning more opportunities and responsibilities for the qualified registered veterinary nurse. at the moment, the only course in Ireland that offers a bachelor of science degree in veterinary nursing is in athlone. Cork offer a level 6 qualification and UCD offer a diploma in veterinary nursing. make sure when researching the course that you realise what qualification you'll recieve.
