Pretty sure AH rules say that once you say "yore ma" as an appropriate response, at an appropriate time. Otherwise it'd thread derailment. Unless your a muppet, than "yore ma" gets mentioned as much as the cat pictures, and the mods give the thread one hour before they close it, and everyone hops into the thread to fill it full of spam.

Well, you should ammend the OP, to show that this is the case.

And it "with out the humour" in the same way freedom of speech in 1950s Catholic Ireland, and Nazi Germany were quite humourless.

I agree that there is a lot of vulgar rubbish that goes with the comment, but the phrase itself , while mostly "unfunny" is not really offensive.

This site is the recycle bin for all the crap that comes out of the Quakenet #fortress.ie and #boards.ie channels but doesn't fit anywhere else. It's nothing to do with it being offensive. It's to do with it being stupid and pissing off a large amount of the after hours regulars.
