Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok so basically I have a crapload of XBLA points to spend now and don't know what to buy. I've got castle crashers and SFII. I have the PS3 too so any games that are on both formats I have on the PS3 (bionic commando).

I was looking at Braid but I've no idea what it is. But yeah, help me spend my moneys. I bought a Halo 3 theme for 250 points, which shows just how desperate a man I am :)

Geometry wars 2 is a no brainer..get that

n+ is a nice puzzle/platformer that you may like,ps do not get this if you have a small tv

bomberman live, get it while its hot,its reduced to 600 at the mo with some xmas deal and is a great party game when friends come over.

carcassonne is one of my all time favourite games on xbla,it has a particular market and i didnt think id like it but it grew on me

small arms is yet another bargain at only 400ms, id says its most comparable to super smash bros,so if thats your type of game its right up your alley

Commanders:attack of the genoes is a neat casual type of strategy, although it isnt too deep,i found it to be a unique and interesting game and probably the only strat xbla game

I suppose you could always sink your teeth into the free game that came out today..i think its called doritos dash for destruction

Give these games a go and make up your mind if you like them yourself

    Geometry Wars 2
    Marble Blast
    Castlevania Symphony of the Night
    Banjo Kazooie
    Rez HD

Look up reviews on Metacritic and look them up on youtube to see them in action.

An old favourite, Worms is savage fun, and its only 400 points. Well worth it.

    N+
    Braid
    Geometry Wars 2

Got more use out of these than most full games.

    Braid.

Most of this years gaming experiences pale in comparison!

Geometry Wars 2 is excellent also. Rez HD is worth a look, still plays great.

If Retr0 comes in he'll tell you to get Ikaruga... ;)

Braid is a must have it really is an excellent little puzzle platformer that is very clever.

Get Ikaruga if you want to, tough but subline gaming and not as hard as people make it out to be. I need some one that can at least challenge my high score on that game. Everyone else on the leaderboard I can beat in the first 10 seconds of the game (literally).

    My suggestions would be
    - Bomberman Live (classic game, and it's reduced this week to 600 points)
    - Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (I know you mentioned that you have SFII, but I don't know if you meant the old school Hyper Fighting one - this one is soo much better!)

    - Braid is brilliant, it looks like a platformer, but it's a great puzzle game and the Time control thing gives it a cool twist. It's just very stylish and worth the money.

    - Worms is OK, but not as much fun as I remembered.

Of all the Demo games on Live Arcade, these are the ones that I keep coming back to play after play after a while.

Bomberman Live, its brilliant on and offline....

Wasted soo much time on it, was completely addicted for months...

Deffo "Bomberman Live" - great fun especially in multiplayer
    I also recommend "N+"

RezHD is fantastic but quite short, worth the money though
You also can't go wrong with duke nukem 3d or streets of rage 2

oh and if you have it, a ****load of rock band songs!
