google earth / weather function

    Anyone recently updated their google earth?

    It now has a weather layer that shows cloud cover, rainfall radar and current temperatures.

    Wonder how accurate / real-time that is?

    Do a search for 'KMZ weather overlays'. You can add a few onto it, even met eireann's hourly radar image. I think there's some for snow watching too. :pac:

    I saw this a few months ago for North America only. Looks like they've expanded the coverage. Nice to see - another thing to play around with :D
