The SSG is a piece of cr*p, i wouldnt bother with that,.,

the KAR is a lovely gun but pretty impractical since you only have 5 shots and its really only for show.,

those revolvers are cheapy plastic too, go for a GBB instead.,

    Thanks for the info.
I think i might pick up a KAR
Im not too worried about the 5 shot's things, it seems a bit silly with the metal capsules but i suppose it looks well. I only plan to be using it for target practice.

I prob wont bother with the pistol for 140e, i was thinking about it but only because they were 30-50e. Do you think they will most likely break themselves?

Altho this seems handy (no need to relaod every 5 shots)

    Good or bad idea?

Yeah i would say so., ive repaired a few of them myself all with the same leaking problem.,

the KAR would be the best bet if your wont be skirmishing, they can be a bit under powered though., it ejects the shells when you cock it and looks realistic.,

Hi airsofties, I have one or two questions if people have the time to answer, thanks in advance.
I was thinking of a rifle and possibly a pistol also just for kicks.
Looking for any insight you might have as im completely new to bb guns.

Could you call it reliable? It seems much cheaper than any of the others.
Do you think the feel/realism of this warrants double the price of the above?

    Cheers again

Hi I have both the SSG and the Kar98.
Never had any problem with the my SSG.
The Kar98 is a very realistic rifle for the money, very nice as a show piece and can be worked on to improve realism,ok for pot shots.
The SSG for under 80 euro is a bargain imo. The body is ABS, I deseamed mine and sprayed with OD Krylon, I use a Bushnell Scope (around 40 euroish) and recon it's good fun for the money.
The M14 Deal looks good for 150 euro all in.

For a realistic pistol, I would recomment a Full Metal 1911 style Hi-Cappa if you can stretch to one of these. Realistic look, weight etc,

There are other 1911 styles available.

Your best bet is to try out the options at the retailers, If you're northside, I would be pleased to show you some of my stuff by appointment.

Its a tricky one, cash vs style. But thanks for the input.

Ive had an ssg for about a year now and ive had no trouble with it so far, pretty accurate to.
The M14 is a nice piece to in fairness and would be more practical if your going to skirmish, but here fairly long if your gonna be running through the woods with one.
I wouldnt bother with that revolver if i were you, theres plent of gbb's out there for around the 100e mark that are gonna give you alot more enjoyment than that revolver. Personally if it was my first pistol id go for a KJW p226.
That Tanio Koba pistol Tonly linked up is a great gun to, if i didnt already have a hi-capa id be after buying one of them buy now, nice solid gun with a crisp blowback.
