Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Interesting formation, more of a 3-5-2 than a 5-3-2 though, with defensive wingers. Thus it'll be either an unbelievably good attacking side or the most boringly defensive team you could pick, risky but interesting!

    nice line up

imagine eto'o was up for sale last summer

top scorer in the la-liga with 15 this season

    cant believe no was interested
    love if utd got him

cheers and yup couldent agree any more why didnt someone go for Eto'o, I thought he might be Drogba's replacement at the time but def think he woulda been better than Berbatov for united to buy.

to think the only team linked to him iirc was some albanian or macedonian or something like that oil rich team.

    ................Casillas

    Alves...Nesta...Carvahlo...Evra

    ..........Xavi.....Essien.............

    Ronaldo......Kaka......Messi

    ................Eto'o

Subs: Buffon, Lahm, Vidic, Fabergas, A.Young, Drogba, Torres

im actually really temped to go into CM and use the editor to create a club which has this as their first team squad and just tear it up!

Ronaldo, Kaka and Messi all just Behind Eto'o it would be goals galore and great to watch, but the team wouldent be compromised defensivley. Instead it has a DM that people always seem to demand a tackler/creater in Xavi/Essien that could rival the very best partnerships like Pirlo/Gattuso or Mascherano/Alonso etc.

hell even if Eto'o isnt on form (does that happen) both Drogba and Torres are on the bench so if needed they could even switch to 4-4-2.

Buffon is argueably the bst GK in the world so the obvious backup for the other man who could despite that accolade Casillas.

Lahm is class and could cover both the fullbacks. Lahm/Evra/Alves would also bring width to the side and an extra dimension if its even needed to the attack.

Fabergas is the Xavi replacement but against weaker sides where perhaps a midfield anchor isnt needed he could also partner his fellow spaniard.

Vidic is in around a third of the modern teams here so is a more than adept replacemment for Carvahlo or Nesta.

and finally Ive even fitted a Villa player in and justifiably so as he could cover all 3 of Messi, Ronaldo and Kaka but with these players ahead of him wouldent argue about benchtime.

Even though he is so blatantly good he has a reputation as a bit of a bloody psycho threatening to kill people and ignorant aswell.

Rio is a brilliant defender but could Carvalho be vidic for Rio

imo Rio needs Vidic/Terry type of player

Rio isnt the type to get stuck in

Rio is brilliant on the ball though

can Carvalho bring that to that back line

also i wouldnt have Ramos even in the sqaud tbh but thats just me
