Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

All over probably a good advert for the world club cup.

Disappointments are obviously the defense, and for me Wellbeck not getting any game time. Can't really comment too much on the second half though as I was stuck listening to commentary only.

Ronaldo in post match interview "the most important is the 3 points" ?

    Good man Ronny.

Entertaining game and a win is a win :D Hard to call a MOTM but Rooney made a great impact coming on for two goals that we needed in the end. Evra,Vidic and Ronaldo had a good game too. Roll on the Final.

I don't think the guy has that good English outside of the usual sound bites.

i think it really shows Giggs and Neville shouldnt be in the first team what so ever

and Nani mg he hasnt improve that much since utd bought him tbh

i hear david silva could be for sale though

Totally disagree - had the feel of a pre-season exhibition game to it - with a scoreline to match - As someone said Utd were in first gear (if that).
Didnt have the feel of a real competitive match to it at all.

Top comment from Ronaldo in his post match interview "we got the three points and that's what is important" :p

I agree about Giggs. However a fit again Neville could be very useful especially with Brown injury prone and Da Silva still learning the defensive side of his game. IMO this competition is the perfect time to give Neville two games and try get him fit and sharp again. I just fear the two games could be too close together for him.

He hasn't pushed on much this season at all. In fact he looks like he has gone backwards. But I wouldn't give up on him yet but quality on the wings is still needed in our squad.

where you talking to his wife?

Yeah but you can't argue that it wasn't entertaining.

I watched it this morning, and I seen 14 United players.

Evans was a disaster when he came on, but there was one worse player.

Everybody else played well, I thought Anderson had a great game. Of course you could only give Rooney 10 out of 10 for his performance.
