stop laughing just seen on the interweb a 05 1.6hdi vtr diesel 49000 miles in the north for £4995 so thats 8.5k with vrt here am i mad seriously thinking about buying it (local dealer in letterkenny is pricing them at 15k euro) its replacing a 96 primera so but i'll guess i'll wait till jan as euro hits parity with stg

Here is one for €8k down here, granted it has a bit more mileage but you could probably knock a bit more off in a straight deal given the current climate and the C5's lack of popularity.
