I'm 15 and I just got a new handset today. [Had to switch to 3 to get it].

I realized then that I wasn't able to access the internet from it!

I rang 3's Customer Support and they informed me that I had to be over 18 to browse the web on Three.

What kind of B*S is this?

I was on o2 for years and I never had to verify my age for browsing.

Anyone know of anything to do with this?

I wouldn't mind but I just paid them €450 for the handset!

Well they'll be havin' it thrown back over the counter with their 14-day money back guarantee.

And I don't even mind if they filter out stuff, all I want to do is read my Emails!

And why would they be censoring something I'm paying for!?

The only reason I changed network was to get this phone...

So some other network better get it fast.

Go to planet 3, my3, access settings, turn on internet access. Wait 5 mins, turn your phone off then back on and you will be able to browse the internet.

That is so weird man because that's just what I'm after doing!

And it worked because all the settings say "You are able to browse the internet", etc.

Gonna buy myself the 1GB plan now so I can IM from it. :D

    Thanks!

Nope, I only figured this out by accident, was using an unverified sim in a modem so its not really cc's fault they said it still had to be done as they are probably not aware this works.
