Doing medicine abroad (esp in Eastern Europe)

Hey, I was reading some of the posts of this forum and I read that a number of Irish students are studying medicine in Eastern Europe. Thought I might give a friendly caution to those thinking of following in their foot steps. These courses might be "internationally recognised " but such graduates dont even get interviews…

Iv heard of a few who are on gp training schemes in the Uk having done med in eastern europe and another few who are doing residency in the US after qualifying.All in all,eastern europe med schools are a last resort,but the degree is by no means worthless
