Cheap Candles

    Looking for big candles that are cheap. They don't have to be anything fancy just big plain ones and cheap. Preferably in dub city center or in the north of the city.

    The €2 shop would be your best bet. Great selection of candles in there.

    massive candles available at the 12 days of christmas market in the ifsc. they've big (8 inchs or there abouts) for €7. Think its 3 for 2 also

    Today's Aldi specials have 3 church pillar candles

    avoid any of the really cheap candles unless you are just using them for decoration. Candles made in China generally burn with a bad smell & black smoke.

    Lidl / Aldi can be quite good as most of theirs come from Germany / Eastern europe. Also try the charity shops, they are always loaded with candles.

    Sandard size Ivory / White are very good value compared to shapes colours as they have a 0% vat rating. - Hence the reason they are called "church candles".

    Thanks folks,

    They're not just for decoration so I may splash out on them! Will check out the ones in Aldi. Hope they still have some left.
