    Hey,

let's say a "3" UK customer is roaming in Ireland. Does anyone know what their external IP address will look like? Would it look like a UK IP address?

The reason I'm asking is that we have trouble with a troll on a web site, and am wondering if their 3 IP address could still allow them to be roaming in Ireland while having an IP address that resolves to sub.mbb.three.co.uk.

    Simon

It will probably be the same. The roamer will create a PDP context to the 3 UK GGSN. After the handset traffic passes through the GGSN it should take the same path as non roaming traffic. It depends in 3 UK policy but normal practice is to treat them the same.
