Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fairview road closure

    Fairview strand was closed this morning because of a (presumably) fatal road accident. Pretty bad news on the last Saturday before Christmas but amazingly enough, the Gardai pulled out all the stops, put a proper traffic plan in place and it all went smothly. They had guards at every junction, they let DB know so the drivers could and did make announcements and most amazingly, overrode the no right turn from Alfie Byrne onto East Wall just for buses so they could get back onto the main road quickly and easily.

    All round great job, well executed and caused shockingly little disruption for DB customers. Fair play to everyone involved.
