Lovely goal from RK, moments after Alan Green on Radio 5 said "I just don't see the point of hitting long balls to Robbie Keane" ...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Great strike from Kuyt forcing a decent save. Kuyt and Keane the best two players on the pitch the last ten minutes.

PLAY UP LIVERPOOL!! Super stuff to come back into it. Cya later Cesc.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,588 ✭✭✭jaykay74

hmmmm, cesc looks a bit fcuked

Out for the rest of this game anyway I'd say.

great last 5 mins from Liverpool. Gerrard should have put that chance away. Looking at the replay Agger looked to have picked out Keane well with the long ball rather than a hit and hope

Get in ta fook! Yay for Robbie :)

Dirk is trying his best to create a second.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,342 ✭✭✭Ardent

I don't think we'll see Fabregas out for the second half.

Cesc looks borked, good news for us!

Yeah, I hope we can keep him. He's a rare defender - he's got great skill, passing and vision.

He's been great this year, great last year in the big games. I'll take a team of Kuyts every day of the ****ing week. Fans who don't appreciate a player who gives you EVERYTHING he's got in every game can get on their bike as far as I'm concerned.

Yep, actually thought he was going to come off worse. Hope Cesc is out for second half but not badly hurt, great player.

The Arsenal fans were singing "What a waste of money" at Keane seconds before he scored. That was why he put his hand to his ear during the celebration. Muchly enjoyable! What a finish.

Now if this stays the same scoreline till FT I will be a happy camper, god I hope Arsenal play that high defence line on Stephen's day, their backline is sloooooooow

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,588 ✭✭✭jaykay74

good game for the neutral so far. enjoying it. I fancy Liverpool, 2nd for Robbie maybe....

    Thought more of him tbh

Did you not notice him hobbling around for half an hour?

And LuckyLloyd(and others), you seem to be enjoying the fact Fabregas got injured, seriously bad form

Overall good game so far. Two absolutely great goals. Without Fabregas things dont look good at all for the second half for arsenal

Dont fancy the Gunners now with Fabregas off.

Just seen the replay again. His knee was proper tweaked there and is definitely out of the second half. Good for us that one although Diaby is by no means a bad player.

Oh yeah what a finish for Robbies goal, Van Persies was not bad either.

diaby replaces fabergas, wonder how long he will be out? hopefully just their next game ;)

    Two cracking goals.

Fabregas wont make the second half.

He was revelling in nothing, he was congratulating somebody on a good hard challenge. Both went in for the ball, was a fair tackle, nice to see a bit of hard tackling is still ok in the game these days.

Huh? I'm just delighted that Alonso went into a 50 / 50 challenge with a good, firm (and fair) tackle and owned his opponent. That's not bad form. That's being a fan ffs.

Very happy with that half considering we are away from home. I felt we controlled the game and looked good going forward up until what was a stunning goal from RVP. We limited Arsenal to very few chances.

Fair play Robbie classy finish !!

    Opr

Aye, seperate the men from the boys. Too many nonsense frees given when a perfectly good tackle is trivialised by excessive rolling about.

Well that comment and this other one makes me see it differently tbh. Maybe its more im just annoyed he got injured. Nothing wrong with the tackle i know

1 goal doesnt change all that much. Remember he got 2 against West Brom.

As someone just said, its crying out for Babel to be unleashed against that backline
