Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No city thread. So now we have one.

Some early Manchester City teams news: Brazilian trio Robinho, Jo and Elano are all missing from the squad. Robinho has an ankle injury, Jo has a virus, not sure what's up with Elano...

Good open game at the minute. Should stay that way.

Encouraging start. Lads look up for it.

SWP and Ireland are the key.

Some good news from the BBC Xavi "The last team to get relegated with a positive goal difference was in 1938 and it was Man City!" I just looked this up and surprisingly it is correct. City finished 21st with a goal difference of +3 and unbelievably scored more goals than Arsenal who won the league with 77 compared with 80 for the City. Doubt we will see that again anytime soon.

Benjani taking the ball off Richards boot was a laugh. The poor chap could of scored.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Lol Richards would have missed too. He's awful in front of goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

We're the better side at the moment. Just missing that killer finish in front of goal. Vas needs to be hauled off.

EDIT: Benji done a hammy, Big Phil on

For an open, attacking game there is no chances being made.

Very nice. very nice ineed. Deflection put it in, but Carson seemed very sluggish to get down and across to it.

technically, Keane didn't lose it, he left it. ;)

I know City are having injury problems, but its' clear that Hughes doesn't have a clue.

Before the goal went in I was just about to say how baffling it is that he NEVER changes the team when we're a goal down. Very strange.
