I take it resolution is important?

Well personally speaking my 2yr old laptop runs 4-8 games just fine.

    HP Pavillion DV9000 series
    17in screen
    256mb nvidia goforce graphics card
    2gb RAM
    1.7ghz amd dual core processor
    160gb hard drive

So I should think any laptop with those specs or better should be fine:D
