Credit card Tax Year end/Begin month ?

    Hi ,just wondering when the year starts and ends for the government credit card levy ?

    I just paid off a credit card to close the account and they asked me for 2009 money.

    Its April to April. The money they're asking for is to pay for the period April 08-April 09. The tax you paid in April 08 was for the previous year.

    Since the tax is paid after the period, any CC has to be closed with 30e in credit to pay for this.
