    Is it ok to take a feed off a socket circuit for a supply for a small fan type bathroom heater?

    Yes, once this does not overload the circuit. A maximum for 10 twin sockets are allowed on a radial.

    I assume you mean a spur outlet? Yes it should have a spur outlet, but it does not have to have a neon. I did not say that because the OP did not ask this.

    yep....fused connection unit....ie a spur. what amp rating would this need to be ? and would you use flex or other cable from the spur to the unit?
