    I have an old compaq presario 6000 (Athlon XP 2200+, 256MB of ram, integrated graphics card, micro-atx case) which I don't use.
    Also have:
    Compact Flash Card 1GB
    Spinpoing F1 1TB HD

    Shopping List:
    Adaptec AAR 2610SA 6 Ports Serial ATA RAID Controller 70e
    Intel PRO/1000 GT Gigabit LAN 35e
    StarTech CF Flash Card to IDE Slot Adaper 17e
    5.25" to 3.5" HD Bracket 4e
    Spinpoint F1 1TB HD 90e
    Total ~230e including delivery

    Stick FreeNas on it, throw it in the attic. Going to use it for rsync backups and sabnzbd aswell.

    Am I missing anything?

    The Adaptec controller doesn't support SATA2. Shouldn't be a problem right?
