This is without question the best International Tournament of the year. I look forward to this tourney year in and year out.

Sort of dull so far. Canada beats Czech 8-1, Kazakhstan 15-0 and Germany 5-1.

Next up the USA tomorrow and then the playoff round.

The Swedes are doing some talking, they are at 3-0 in their pool. Some nice banter to set up the medal games. :)

Huge comeback win for Canada over the USA yesterday. The Yanks had the Canucks down 3-0 early in the first period with Canada storming back to tie before the first horn sounded.

Canada added two empty net goals in the final minutes to win 7-4 in what was really a one goal game.

Here we go, the final tonight. Canada v Sweden.

It is as it should be, the two best teams in the tournament in the final.
We need to be better defensively if we want to win.

Canada deserved to win the game despite the terrible refing. It really was a shame that they had to take away from it somewhat by charging Markstrom on numerous ocasions.
    Such is life though.

    Well done Canada

I dont think they charged him at all. Markstrom put himself in the position to get hit and then made and ass of himself by embellishing it. The Candians were jamming the crease as much as the Swedes or any other team.

What got me is the Swedish defence punching the Canadian players in the head with the refs standing there and not sending them to the bin.
