Small oil companies, which is your favourite ?

    There are an incredible amount of small oil companies around.
    The ones I rate highly are Faroe(FPM.L), Afren (AFR.L) and Leeds(LDP.L). They all are producing oil and are financed for exploration and development and acquisitions till the end of 2009 !
    A lot has beens said about Gulfsands Petroleum(GPX.L) and Roc oil (RCO.L) even migration form AIM up to the LSE.

    Desire and Empyrean have small volume at the moment but do spike up, depending on discovery they could increase exponentially!
    Any thoughts ?

    BG & BP, excellent companies that you can put a lot a of money into, get a good yield and feel relatively secure about it.
    Granted, i don't believe the time is now to invest but maybe in 6 - 12 months, i feel the economy may start a fight back but who knows !
