    Hi all,

I just recieved FM09 as a present. After installation, everything looks fine until the first friendly game of the season. Then the whole program freezes and on the task menu, it says the program is not responding.

Has anyone seen this problem before? Its not a spec problem with the pc cause it is very up to date.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Ted.

Just to ask, have you installed the patches? What OS?

Yes this problem is common for a lot of people. Go the the options and put the game in windowed mode and all will be well...hopefully.

what do you mean by 'up to date'? have you all the latest drivers etc. what's the GFX card, RAM etc.

also have you tried using 2D mode instead of 3D? the option is under preferences.

disclaimer: this may seem like a stupid question, but it is surprising the amount of times you come across those who think just because their comp is less than a year old they meet the minimum specs, when this isn't actually the case. FM09 is pretty demanding on the hardware, more than it should be really
