Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

props to stoke but if Fergie put out a descent team,
    utd wouldnt have a problem

That's the past 3 games I've seen him play in where he's done something thuggish and could warrant a red card. He needs to cop on a bit and realise he is a professional footballer and a role model, that's the last thing his team needs ffs.

    Ronaldo as well now.

    ffs.

Rooney and Ronaldo are protected species. Disgraceful refereeing. Grow a pair of bollox Foy ffs.

Extremely impressed with Stoke's performance here. Ronaldo giving me more and mroe reasons to dislike him!

This is painful viewing. More petulence from Ronaldo there with a kick out - starting to get fed up with him at this stage.

Andy Wilkinson off, Stoke down to 10, that's 0-0 for sure I think

Had to go. Should be following Rooney.

Deserved yellow, but what a stupid choice he made. This should be the turning point.

Think Ronaldo provoked him nicely ;)

it will be harder for utd

10 men behind the ball now for stoke

seriously saying you hate giggs and neville and now this?

    wtf

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,828 ✭✭✭gosplan

    Disgrace. Absolute shocking standards.

Adebayor booked twice last week for two clumsy challenges with no contact made. Rooney throws an elbow and Ronaldo a leg. No action taken. Both seen by officials.

No respect for officials and it's their own fault

yea it will be so much different than the last 70 minutes

pity to see Delap going off. Will be an interesting last 20mins

Well Stoke were the ones looking more dangerous and likely to score a goal the past 20 minutes, now they have basically been neutered and have been given no choice but defend. So now Utd are basically guaranteed a point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,275 ✭✭✭CantGetNoSleep

With Chelsea winning and Liverpool about to face Bolton at home they surely don't want just one point

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

United are awful. Not creating any real openings at all today. At the moment a draw is a fair result because we have not shown anything to deserve better thus far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,815 ✭✭✭Charlie

United look very hapless out there tody. No one seems willing to stand up, and get the others going.

dont know what game your watching

stoke have been dangerous, more so than utd

utd have alot of possesion but no clinical passing

and your question on giggs and neville

those 2 wasters shouldnt be in the first team anymore

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Neville's distribution is simply awful. Combine that with his obvious lack of pace and I can see no reason to keep him in the team.

EDIT: And as I say that Neville provides the ball in for the goal.

    thank god.

    1 - 0

United's most important goal of the season so far? Tevez always scores those kinds of goals.

LOL, United go 1 up and what's the first thing their fans do? Start singing about Liverpool.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,225 ✭✭✭Chardee MacDennis

Rooney not booked for dissent once, then twice. Surprise Surprise.
can't help but be impressed with Stoke, particularly fuller

both him and Ronaldo should have been sent off, typical...

On another note what was up with Rio not giving Neville the armband last sunday and also Rio was the one who lifted the trophy even though Neville played. I thought it was a bit odd as Rio has always said that Neville is the Man Utd captain.

Because they know it winds up Liverpool fans watching on TV.

    Obviously.

Mr Alan is on to me all the time about that.

    I think it's hilarious.

    never notice that redout

    maybe times have changed

    maybe Rio is the Captain

it would make sense since Neville doesnt and shouldnt get a starting place

    Neville doesnt...get a starting place

Was I imagining things today then?

Not really when you consider suspensions. As an Arsenal fan I'm just really sickened that Adebayor is missing a really important game at Villa today for two clumsy tackles but both Rooney and Ronaldo will play at Boro next week. Both challenges would, on similar occasions, get straight reds for other (non-utd) players.
