Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Insua has had a few screamers for the reserves, he can hit them. He's looked great in the last few games, definately shows promise considering how young he is.

    brilliant!

they all look like little boys sitting down on the pitch.. he gave them a lashing!

i think we need to score early in the second half before Davies is brought on.

Insua really does make such a difference. Always an option when we go forward. Very very impressive and can put in a good ball.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 9,648 Mod ✭✭✭✭mayordenis

Riera had a good game, hif he put his hand on my shoulder I would most likely jizz in my pants, his touch is that good.

on the other side of things, the games we have in the bag are best used for players who still have something to prove, whereas Babel has already proven his worth as a supersub many's the time. He does need mroe gametime though to find his form, but a case could be made for any 3 of El Zhar, Lucas, Babel and NGog.

Given that it was a striker that was being rested, i'd have gone with NGog too i think, just since he scored on his last start so is worth a punt to try and keep him playing well while his confidence is high. A striker in form is a very handy thing to have on the bench over the rush of christmas games.

good to see babel not playing teach him a lesson

  • Registered Users Posts: 465 ✭✭coco06

Bassong defender for newcastle i presume he will miss the match v us!
Great record not to be beaten at home all year.
