Haven't heard much of Florence and the Machine yet to say

New Bell X1 album is fantastic. Blow Ins is one of the finest tracks theyve ever done.

According to the infallible fountain of knowledge known as Wikipedia, Massive Attack's new album Weather Underground should be out in February.
    Looking forward to that one.
Seemingly we're all in agreement that The Manics album is the one we're looking forward to the most!
    :mad::mad::mad:
I can wholeheartedly assure you that I am not looking forward to it. At all.

Doves have a new album coming out? Put that on my list!

I cant really think of anything that I know to be coming out that hasn't already been mentioned, I expect Mick Flannery to have another gem out at some stage.

Bright eyes will no doubt be fantastic, I look forward to the manics mainly becasue of Albini, Bell X1 too.

I really hope I just come across stuff as life changing as Bon Iver or Fleet Foxes again.

Just remembered, Grizzly Bear will have a new one out! Top of my list!

    Manics - hope it's not a disaster
Muse - will have some amazing stuff like the last three albums have had
Tori Amos - releaseding an album on her own label this year
Blur - could release an album

I would love another Bloc Party album but it's not likely - maybe a new single later in the year

Depeche Mode - hope they get very heavey and hard like Songs of Faith and Devotion

Bon Iver will no doubt be brilliant, Franz Ferdinand too if their Electric Picnic show was anything to go by and Wilco by the same yardstick. I think Arctic Monkey are due something too, though that could be wishful thinking. Anybody know anything there?

I dont agree. The sound of it was a return to form but the songs weren't great. None of them would make it onto a best of. In retrospect I prefer Lifeblood even though it was very disappointing at the time of release.

Sorry to disagree but 'Your Love Alone.....' and 'Autumn Song' are classics in my opinion. And the title track, Indian Summer, Rendition and Second Great Depression are all solid outings

New Jimmy Eat World album is supposed to move away from last year's poppier direction and return to broodier themes. Which suits me just fine.

Have only just gotten into For Emma, Forever Ago so I'm excited for Blood Bank.

Hopefully The National will release an EP to whet our appetite for 2010's expected album.

    Fantastic, should be great.

I've always been a little split on the manics, I would say that Lifeblood is my favourite album too though.

I seem to get the impression that they're a either 'love them or hate them' band alright, but regardless of that, some of the new tunes on the new album out Feb 2nd are said to be a major major step forward. New sounds, the lot.

Haven't seen a bad review anywhere of it thb with ya.

I'm looking forward to a lot of the above, but I'm already loving White Lies' "To Lose My Life" - surprised nobody has mentioned it already. Definitely one for the fans of Editors and Interpol.

I'm also really looking forward to the new Director album. What I heard at their gig last month was very promising.
