Dunno...I lived in a very small community before moving to Cork...
Or also, maybe it's more difficult for a drunk man to think to approach a foreigner...
Anyway..obviously I don't go in places that are obviously (xcuse-me) full of drunk hunting men, more quiet pubs with older people having a chat, usually...and it's during the day, usually.
